Description
Silicone pessary in the form of a thickened ring is used for conservative correction of pelvic organ prolapse. The use of a pessary ensures the restoration of the anatomical shape of the vaginal walls during their prolapse (in mild or moderate severity). The use of this modification of the pessary is not recommended in the early stages of prolapse.
The production of pessaries from medical silicone can significantly improve their performance. The high elasticity of the material ensures a decrease in discomfort during insertion and a decrease in the risk of developing inflammatory processes in the vagina.
